Description	Misoprostol, also known as hickory, misoprostol and misoprostol, was first listed in the United States in 1985. It is a kind of synthetic prostaglandin E1 analogue. It is a light yellow viscous liquid. It is a new type of anti progesterone. It is a derivative of prostaglandin E1. It can stimulate the secretion of mucus and bicarbonate and promote the mucosal blood flow. Therefore, it has a protective effect on gastric and duodenal mucosa and is conducive to ulcer healing. It can inhibit the secretion of basic gastric acid or the secretion of gastric acid and pepsin caused by histamine, pentagastrin and food stimulation.
