Introduction
Acetyl Tetrapeptide-11 is the reaction product of Acetic Acid and Tetrapeptide-11, containing leucine, proline and tyrosine residues. It promotes the cell growth, Syndecan-1 and Collagen XVII synthesis.
Acetyl Tetrapeptide-11 is dedicated to mature skin. It specifically targets the epidermis and acts on two constituents that are primarily responsible for cohesion. Specifically, it stimulates syndecan-1 synthesis, a small proteoglycan of which the production diminishes with age, to reinforce epidermal cohesion; and improves the adhesion between epidermis and DEJ through the stimulation of collagen XVII synthesis. This leads to an improvement of skin appearance, radiance and firmness, as were shown in a clinical study. This material is preservative-free.
Function
Acetyl Tetrapeptide-11 has face and body anti-wrinkle and anti-aging effects.
Acetyl Tetrapeptide-11 is ideally used in anti-age face care, radiant senior skin care, and specific care for mature skin. It is a white powder, with a characteristic odor, is soluble in water, but insoluble in oils and fats.
What are Peptides for Skin Care?
Science has proven that peptides can help manage wrinkles in your skin and reverse the signs of aging.Human skin is comprised mostly of collagen. Collagen is a protein comprised of long segments of amino acids arranged like a chain. Collagen provides a foundation and thickness for skin.Women under 30 have ample collagen, which results in smooth, tight skin. The rest of us have less collagen - skin tends to be thinner, revealing more wrinkles. When collagen breaks down, short segments of amino acids are formed. These are the tiny proteins and active molecules known as peptides. Peptides in skin care can provide significant anti-aging benefits.
