| Description | Fluocinonide is a fluorine-containing glucocorticoid. 0.01% of external preparations are moderately effective, and 0.025% of external preparations are potent glucocorticoids. It can contract dermal capillaries, inhibit the proliferation or regeneration of epidermal cells, inhibit connective tissue proliferation, stabilize intracellular lysosomal membranes, reduce inflammatory exudation, and inhibit the formation and release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators.
