Acetyl Tetrapeptide-11, or Syniorage, is an important part of hemi-desmosome, playing an important role to link the epidermis and DEJ to enhance the firmness and elasticity of skin. And it can replenish Syndecan-1 on aged skin and improve the epidermal adhensive power so as to brigthen and balance the complexion.

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-11 is dedicated to mature skin. It specifically targets the epidermis and acts on two constituents that are primarily responsible for cohesion. Specifically, it stimulates syndecan-1 synthesis, a small proteoglycan of which the production diminishes with age, to reinforce epidermal cohesion; and improves the adhesion between epidermis and DEJ through the stimulation of collagen XVII synthesis. This leads to an improvement of skin appearance, radiance and firmness, as were shown in a clinical study. This material is preservative-free.
